Villabella Amarone Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2004

Corvina 70%, Rondinella 20%, Corvinone 10%

This Villabella Amarone Classico is born from a precise blend of three different indigenous grapes, which, better than others, interpret the terroir of Verona: Corvina, Rondinella, and Corvinone. The vines of these three varieties are cultivated using the typical pergola system in these areas and grow in vineyards characterized by a predominantly calcareous and clayey subsoil with the presence of stones. The grapes, harvested at the end of September, are dried for 4 months. At the end of this period, the Villabella team proceeds with a soft pressing, and the must ferments for 20 days at a controlled temperature, remaining in contact with the skins. Then, the aging process continues for 36 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
