“The Barbera d’Asti ‘Fiulot’ is an expression of a particularly suitable territory for the cultivation of this traditional red grape variety in Piedmont. ‘Fiulot’ renews the great Piedmontese tradition of this wine, focusing on quality without betraying its distinctive characteristics. After harvesting, the grapes are taken to the cellar, destemmed, and pressed. The fermentation then begins with maceration on the skins lasting about 8 days, at a maximum temperature of 28 °C. The wine is then aged for several months in stainless steel, allowing it to preserve all the typical primary aromas of the grape variety intact.”
