Description
Franz Haas Pinot Nero is produced from the homonymous grape variety grown in highly diverse terrains at varying altitudes ranging from 350 to 900 meters above sea level. The vineyards, featuring high planting densities, encompass selected low-yield clones, ensuring a high level of quality. The grape clusters are vinified in open stainless steel vats with frequent pumping over and punch-downs, after which the mass is transferred to oak barriques for one year of maturation. Following bottling, the wine rests for several months in glass before being ready for commercial release.
