Description
The term “Rambarde” is a local word that refers to the flat-bottomed boats that were once used to transport wines from Pouilly to Paris through the canal that connects the Loire to the Seine. Today, the Pouilly-Fumé “La Rambarde” from Domaine Landrat-Guyollot pays tribute to past eras but also aims to be a young and immediately enjoyable wine. Aged in stainless steel tanks on fine lees, it is excellent for accompanying seafood-based menus, from the aperitif to the main courses.
