Chateau Mont Redon Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2007

Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Counoise, Muscardin, Vaccarèse

Description

Among the various wines produced, the Châteauneuf du Pape Rouge is undoubtedly the flagship wine of the entire range at Château Mont Redon: bold, austere, and decisive, it perfectly embodies the characteristics of the primary grape in this blend, Grenache, along with other grape varieties in smaller percentages. It undergoes careful production, with the grapes fermenting at a constant temperature of 28°C. After both alcoholic and malolactic fermentations are completed, the wine is aged in new oak barrels, 25% of which are new, for 12 months. This wine strongly reflects the identity of its unique terroir, with significant aging potential, making it an excellent choice to drink now or to store in the cellar for a few more years.
