Description
The pure Chardonnay grapes of Chablis “La Chanfleure” by Louis Latour have found an ideal terroir here to fully express their potential. Chablis is located in the northernmost part of Burgundy, halfway between Dijon and Paris. The soil is primarily composed of Portlandian and Kimmeridgian limestone, resulting in a structured and characterful final product. The vines are on average over 30 years old, and the harvest is done mechanically with advanced machinery. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine matures for 8-10 months in steel tanks.
