L’Insoglio del Cinghiale is the most important wine from the Campo di Sasso estate owned by Ludovico Antinori, who benefits from the expertise of Michel Rolland in the production of this wine. Born in 2003, a false hot summer, it represents the most significant wine of the Campo di Sasso estate. This exceptional quality-price ratio Tuscan red is composed of 32% Syrah, with the remaining part being a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. “L’Insoglio del Cinghiale” matures for only 6 months in first and second-passage barriques to make room for the fruit more than the spices of the wood, which are present but in a very discreet manner.
