Eloquent is this Trento Pinot Nero DOC “Maso Montalto” from Tenuta Margon, a wine that matures for over a year in oak barrels, followed by an additional refinement in the bottle for 15 months. A Pinot Nero, portrayed in a Trentino style, complex and elegant, with a well-rounded aromatic profile on both the nose and palate. It pairs well with typical mountain dishes, elaborated game recipes, or, more broadly, red meats. The wine takes its name from the homonymous “maso” around which the vineyards are cultivated, situated at around 400 meters above sea level.
