Description
The house of Bouchard Père et Fils, founded in 1731, has over time managed to create one of the best vineyards in Burgundy by acquiring exceptional terroir vineyards. In 1811, the company name “Bouchard Père et Fils” was formalized; during the 19th century, the estate continued acquiring new lands, and in the following century, it focused on managing the company. Starting from 1960, the property resumed its policy of acquisitions. The Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Les Cailles from the Bouchard Père et Fils estate is aged from 10 to 18 months in mostly new oak barrels. The bouquet is marked by the typical aromas of Pinot Noir, with subtle woody and spicy notes.
