Description
Antinori, one of the highest wine-producing excellences in Italy, produces the red wine Gran Selezione “Badia a Passignano,” a pure Sangiovese Chianti Classico. The grapes, carefully selected during the harvest, are destemmed and gently pressed upon arrival at the winemaking facilities. Subsequently, the alcoholic fermentation takes place, lasting for about 10 days. Finally, after racking, the wine is transferred to wood to undergo malolactic fermentation, and after the racking, it undergoes aging in Hungarian oak barrels for 12 months.
