The Blu from the Brancaia winery begins its journey around mid-September when the harvest starts, concluding at the end of the month. The grapes from individual vineyards are strictly handpicked, and once transferred to the cellar, they undergo destemming and crushing. Immediately after, the grapes fall directly into the fermentation tanks, utilizing gravitational force. To achieve the maximum qualitative expression, each grape variety is vinified and aged separately. This final step occurs in barriques for a duration of 20 months, followed by an additional year in the bottle.
