Description

Gromis is the name of the family from whom Gaja acquired the vineyards in the La Morra area in the mid-nineties. It is born from the vinification of Nebbiolo grapes, matures for one year in barriques, and another year in large casks: its complexity and elegance can evolve and expand for many years. Fruity, spicy, and balsamic on the nose, soft, warm, and persistent on the palate, it pairs perfectly with hearty dishes of traditional Piedmontese cuisine or even on its own, as a splendid wine for contemplation.
