Description
This Barbaresco crafted by Ceretto winery boasts an exceptional pedigree. It originates within the Asili, one of the most representative crus of the entire designation, where the quality reaches truly exceptional levels. Ceretto produces this Barbaresco “Asili” using Nebbiolo grapes, a native Piedmontese grape variety cultivated in a one-hectare plot situated approximately 290 meters above sea level. The vineyards face south and southeast and have been cultivated using biodynamic farming practices since 2010. After manual harvesting, the grapes ferment in stainless steel with the aid of indigenous yeasts. Subsequently, they undergo slow maturation for two years, both in tonneau and oak barrels.
