Pio Cesare Barolo DOCG 2001

Nebbiolo 100%

Description

A bottle that encapsulates all the beauty of the most renowned areas in the Langhe for Barolo production. This label from Pio Cesare succeeds in summarizing the great and diverse Piedmontese terroirs, where Nebbiolo finds the ideal conditions for producing a balanced and long-lasting product. Pio Cesare crafts this Barolo like a true puzzle, starting with Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in the most important vineyards of Serralunga d’Alba, Grinzane Cavour, La Morra, Novello, and Monforte d’Alba. The grapes, carefully selected during the harvest, ferment in steel, macerating slowly for about 25-30 days. Then comes the aging phase, carried out for 30 months in oak barrels and, for a small part of the mass, also in barriques.
