Coppo L’Avvocata – Barbera d’Asti DOCG 2003

Barbera 100%

The Barbera D’Asti ‘L’avvocata’ comes from vineyards located in the southern Asti area, around Canelli, the homeland of Moscato D’Asti and Italian sparkling wines. When talking about the Coppo family, it refers to one of the oldest wineries in Italy, founded in 1892 and with approximately 125 years of uninterrupted winemaking history. The house style has always aimed to favor finesse rather than power, offering wines that surprise with their fragrance and freshness without sacrificing complexity. The grapes used in this wine come from vineyards situated between 200 and 250 meters above sea level, on clayey-calcareous marl soils. The grape selection is done manually to choose only the best bunches. After the vinification process, the wine matures exclusively in stainless steel to preserve all its aromatic integrity.
