Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion – Pessac-Leognan 2007

Merlot 43%, Cabernet Sauvignon 52%, Cabernet Franc 5%

La Mission Haut-Brion is a story rooted in ancient times, dating back to the Middle Ages. It is located in Talence, within the prestigious Graves region on the southern outskirts of the city of Bordeaux. The vineyards today cover a total area of approximately 29 hectares, with 27 hectares planted with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, while the remaining 2 hectares are cultivated with white grape varieties, Sémillon, and Sauvignon Blanc. Maximum respect for the environment, nature, biodiversity, and the ecosystem is maintained among the vine rows. This approach continues in the cellar, where every step of production aims to achieve the highest quality standards. The estate produces four labels, totaling approximately 80,000 bottles: two red wines, La Mission Haut-Brion and La Chapelle de La Mission Haut-Brion, and two white wines, La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc and La Clarté de Haut-Brion. These exceptional labels consistently receive acclaim from enthusiasts, experts, and critics worldwide—a must-try experience at least once in a lifetime.
