Ceretto Bricco Asili Faset – Barbaresco 1999

The Ceretto winery is located in Alba, in the San Cassiano area. This winery is currently managed by Bruno and Marcello, along with a new generation composed of Alessandro, Federico, Lisa, and Roberta. The Ceretto family is one of the major vineyard owners in Piedmont, all situated in the most prestigious areas of the Langhe and Roero regions. Recently, the company made a very important decision: to abandon all chemical products to obtain the most natural wine possible. Barbaresco, always elegant, is produced using grapes from the “Asili” area in the municipality of Barbaresco. The name comes from the vineyard’s location, the “Bricco,” which is the top of the Asili hill. The fermentation takes place in steel tanks and then traditionally rests in large oak barrels.
