The Shiraz from Cape Mentelle is produced using grapes cultivated in the Margaret River region of Western Australia, thanks to the insight of Dr. John Gladstones. Inspired by the great German wines of the Rhône Valley, Cape Mentelle’s Shiraz is characterized by an opulent style and an intense ruby-red color. Its bouquet is fruity and spicy, with hints of berries, spices, and black pepper. In the mouth, it presents a good structure and persistence, with fine tannins. It’s perfect to pair with various meat dishes, duck, moderately aged cheeses, and game.
