Penfolds Dalwood Winery opened in the Hunter Valley New South Wales on the 17th February 1967. This wine was originally labeled as Hermitage Claret. The vineyards are located in one of Australia’s finest wine regions, the Barossa Valley and the Clare Valley, where the soil structure and ideal microclimate allow the vines to thrive and produce exceptionally high-quality grapes. For over 150 years, the winery has been distinguished by its passion, dedication, commitment, and vineyard work to deliver wines with unique characteristics.
