Description
Wine representative of the territory that expresses in its notes all the characteristics of the terroir. Bright ruby red color, a clear scent of ripe fruit reminiscent of cherry and very ripe Morello cherry. The harvest is carried out by hand with a strict selection of grapes at their optimal ripening stage in late September/mid-October. Vinification takes place after cold maceration. This is followed by a period of aging in second-passage wood for 8-10 months, and further maturation in the bottle for at least 3 months. The pergola vineyards have an average age of 25-30 years, while the trellised vines with the Guyot system at 2500 vines per hectare have an age of 8-10 years.”
