Description
From a blend of 85% Sangiovese and 15% international grape varieties like Merlot and Petit Verdot, it matures and refines in French, Eastern European, and American oak barrels ranging from the first to the third passage for eight months. The final refinement takes place in truncated cone-shaped vats for six months and then in the bottle for an additional six months.
