Description
The vineyard is located at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level, on clayey soils, with a southwest exposure. The Merlot and Sangiovese grapes were hand-selected. The alcoholic fermentation took place spontaneously in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature, with gentle punch-downs, especially during the first few days. The malolactic fermentation occurred in new French oak barriques, where the wine remained to mature for the following months. The additional aging period in the bottle has given us a Giramonte with great organoleptic qualities, the result of a beautiful vintage.
