Lunae Bosoni Niccolo V Colli di Luni Rosso 2003

Sangiovese, Merlot, Pollera Nera

Description

Niccolò V by Lunae Bosoni is produced from Sangiovese, Merlot, and Pollera Nera grapes, an indigenous Ligurian variety mainly cultivated in the Lunigiana area. These grapevines are grown using the Guyot training system in gravelly soils rich in skeletal components, and the clusters are harvested from mid to late September. The must ferments in stainless steel containers at controlled temperatures, remaining in contact with the skins for 12 days. The final maturation phase occurs initially for 12 months in French oak barriques and then, after the bottling process, for an additional 6 months directly in glass.
