85% Friulano, 5% Picolit, 5% Ribolla Gialla, 5% Malvasia


These vines are located on the Jermann estate in Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the Collio region. The soil type is predominantly marl with the presence of sandy sediments. The vines are trained using the Guyot system with a density of up to 8,700 vines per hectare. The winemaking process involves blending Tocai Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia, and Picolit grapes, with Tocai Friulano being the majority. The vineyards are exposed to the east, southwest, and south.The wine, named Capo Martino, is named after the hill purchased in 1991 in the heart of Collio, covering a vineyard area of 7.5 hectares. This vineyard was renewed from 1996 to 2003 using the same traditional grape varieties. It undergoes fermentation and aging in 750-liter Slavonian oak barrels for 12-16 months and is released for sale two years after the harvest. The bottled and well-preserved wine matures for at least 10 years.
