Chateau Giscours Margaux 2006

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot

Existing since the 14th century as a defensive tower, it was in the 1800s that Château Giscours became the wine estate that we know today. Located within the AOCs of Margaux and Haut-Médoc, precisely in the communes of Labarde and Arsac, the château spans 165 hectares of vineyards, divided into over forty different plots planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The vines are cultivated in full respect of the environment and ecosystem, benefiting from a microclimate particularly suited for vine cultivation. From these precious and genuine grapes, a young and dynamic team crafts labels that reflect the union between ancestral traditions and modern winemaking technologies. Aged in high-quality French oak barrels, the wines of Château Giscours have always been appreciated by critics and connoisseurs alike. They are distinguished by their subtle taste and olfactory complexity, their exquisite balance, and refined purity, characteristics that, when combined, are certainly not easily found in any label.”
