The Brunello di Montalcino “Vigna la Casa” by Caparzo is obtained, as per the regulations, with Sangiovese grapes from a single vineyard adjacent to the estate. Caparzo was one of the first in Montalcino to produce a “cru” in 1977. After a strictly manual harvest, it ferments on the skins at a controlled temperature for about ten days, then matures in large barrels for 3 years, completing the refinement with at least 6 months in the bottle.
