Bollinger Special Cuvee Brut

Pinot Noir 60%, Chardonnay 25%, Pinot Meunier 15%

The Champagne Brut Special Cuvée is the emblem and symbol of the great maison Bollinger, an absolute glory of Champagne. The first Special Cuvée was produced in 1911 on the suggestion of an English agent of the Bollinger family, and since then, it has never ceased to be produced, becoming the grand representative of the entire range. The Special Cuvée Champagne Brut is the result of a delicate blend of a small percentage of freshly harvested grapes and reserve wines, including those aged in bottles for more than 15 years in the cellars. These are the characteristics that make the cuvée ‘special’, along with the raw materials that include the use of all three characteristic Champagne grape varieties cultivated in the most prestigious crus. Cellar aging, which doubles the minimum required by the appellation, completes the production process and bestows unique and inimitable characteristics.”
