Louis Latour’s Chassagne Montrachet Blanc is an extraordinarily charming white wine, a splendid expression of Chardonnay from the Côte de Beaune. The grapes come from vineyards over 30 years old, cultivated on soils composed of marl and clay. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels. Before bottling, the wine matures for 8-10 months in medium-toast barrels, with 15% of them being new, and it also undergoes malolactic fermentation. In the glass, it has a golden yellow color with bright reflections. The bouquet is characterized by elegant scents of white flowers, yellow fruit aromas, delicate honeyed notes, and hints of fresh almonds. On the palate, it has a good body, a complex and deep sip, announcing a harmonious finish with great freshness.
