Description
Ca’ del Bosco Curtefranca Chardonnay is produced using only Chardonnay grapes from six different vineyards located in the municipalities of Erbusco and Corte Franca. The vines, cultivated according to the principles of organic farming, have an average age of over 30 years. The grapes are hand-harvested, carefully selected, and then subjected to Ca’ del Bosco’s characteristic washing and drying process. After this, they are gently crushed in the absence of oxygen, and alcoholic fermentation takes place in small oak barrels aged for at least 3 years. After 9 months of aging in barriques on the fine lees, during which the wine undergoes complete malolactic fermentation, it is bottled. The wine then continues to mature in glass for an additional 40 months before being released for sale.
