The Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso is an indigenous grape variety of Friuli, which is successfully cultivated in the Colli Orientali, where it produces soft and concentrated wines with mineral and territorial tones. Ideal for pairing with red meat-based dishes, even those with structure, the Refosco from the Dorigo winery perfectly expresses the typical character of the grape variety, enhanced by nuances acquired from eight months of aging in second-passage French oak barriques. It can be enjoyed immediately or, if desired, aged for a couple of years in the cellar, resulting in an extremely pleasant, rich, never ordinary, unique, and generous Refosco.
