Just like Brunello di Montalcino, the Rosso is produced exclusively using Sangiovese Grosso, the most typical variety of the Ilcinese hills. The result is a wine of great straightforwardness and expressiveness, fragrant and immediate. Unlike its older sibling, it is released for sale approximately two years after the harvest to preserve its natural characteristics.
