Description
Louis Latour’s 2020 Montrachet Grand Cru is an extraordinary wine obtained from a 0.8-hectare vineyard located on a hill in the northern part of Montrachet, in the municipality of Puligny-Montrachet. The vines have an average age of 40 years and grow on soils of gypsum, gravel, and limestone. After manual harvesting, the fermentation takes place traditionally in oak barrels, and the wine undergoes 100% malolactic fermentation. The wine matures for 8-10 months in new French oak barrels (100%) at Louis Latour’s cellar. It is a high-quality wine characterized by the prestigious Grand Cru designation and the renowned Montrachet production area.
