Description
Maison Bouchard Père et Fils, founded in 1731, has over time created one of the finest vineyards in Burgundy by acquiring exceptional terroir vineyards. In 1811, the corporate name “Bouchard Père et Fils” was officially established. During the 19th century, the estate continued to acquire new lands, and in the following century, it decided to focus on managing the business. Starting from the 1960s, the property resumed its acquisition policy. In 1995, the Bouchard family handed over the reins to another historic family from Champagne: the Henriot Champagne House. The new team took over the vineyard, completely renewing the activity, including the style of the wines. The Meursault Premier Cru Perrières offers a complex bouquet where floral and delicate woody notes blend. It is one of the most sought-after Premier Cru in Meursault, made famous worldwide by Domaine Coche-Dury. On the palate, this wine displays extraordinary richness balanced by pleasant freshness. It is suitable for long aging.
