Immersed in the beauty of Maremma, Monteverro is located near the medieval village of Capalbio. It was created at the behest of Georg Weber, a wine lover and collector who, from Munich, chose this wonderful place. Together with his wife Julia and an internationally exceptional team, they produce extraordinary wines that aim to secure a privileged place in the Italian and international wine scene. Manual harvesting and separate vinification for each individual parcel; natural fermentation in stainless steel and barriques. Fermentation separately in stainless steel and barriques with a hundred percent free-fall procedure; manual punching down, aging for 24 months in French oak barriques, with 80% new wood. No clarification or filtration is foreseen.
