The Lucien Le Moine winery was established in 1999 by Mounir Saouma and his wife Rotem, based in Beaune. Both of Lebanese origin with educational and professional experiences in France, they chose, given their deep affinity, to establish their négociant house in Burgundy. Every year, Mounir and Rotem Saouma search for the best appellations and then decide, only after tasting, the selection of the crus to purchase. Subsequently, Mounir and Rotem Saouma dedicate themselves to the aging of the chosen wines, avoiding clarification and filtration. By working in such a craft manner, Mounir and Rotem Saouma can accommodate and enhance the typical characteristics of each wine and each vintage produced.
