Louis Jadot, La Garenne, Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru 2006

Description

The climat ‘La Garenne’ is located near Puligny Champ Gain, close to Blagny. The soil is of medium-density limestone. This vineyard is relatively young and belongs to the Magenta family. Harvesting is done manually in small crates to preserve the integrity of the fruit. The grapes are then gently pressed and fermented in barrels from our cooperage, with one-third being new. Aging takes place for approximately 15 months on fine lees before preparation for bottling.
