Description
The Premier Cru ‘Mont de Milieu’ is a Chablis that originates from one of the most important domains in the Burgundy region. Joseph Drouhin owns a total of 78 hectares, divided between Chablis, Côte d’Or, and Côte Chalonnaise, with precious vineyards in Premier and Grand Cru locations such as Chablis, Gevrey Chambertin, Volnay, Chambolle Musigny, Vougeot, and Chassagne Montrachet. Founded in 1880, the estate is now in its fourth generation of winemakers, and all the vineyards are cultivated using organic and biodynamic farming practices, with no use of chemical substances. The Chablis estate covers about forty hectares, and the Premier Cru ‘Mont de Milieu’ parcel is located in the southeast area, characterized by a milder and gentler climate, which allows for excellent grape ripening with good aromatic richness.
