The Bolgheri Rosso ‘Le Serre Nuove’ is a classic Bolgheri-Bordeaux blend produced from mainly Merlot grapes, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, following the French style. The goal is to showcase the austerity and elegant expressiveness of great wines of this kind. The grapes undergo two selections before being crushed. Each grape variety is vinified separately in stainless steel tanks, undergoing maceration for 10-15 days. Malolactic fermentation completes in first and second-passage barriques, where the wine will age for 15 months, refining its personality and intrinsic characteristics. A further 6 months of bottle aging allows the wine to achieve a perfect taste balance.
