Description
Domaine de l’Eglantière is located in Chablis, in Burgundy. It belongs to the Durup family, winemakers from father to son, who have been cultivating vines in Chablis for several centuries. The family’s properties have the highest percentage of well-exposed hills, with stony soils and very steep slopes, providing the best guarantee of wine quality. Chablis is made from Chardonnay grapes, grown on 110 hectares of vineyards with vine age ranging from 25 to over 30 years. Winemaking takes place in fiberglass or stainless steel tanks, and the wine is aged in tanks.
