Marques de Caceres Reserva – Rioja DOCa 2013

Garnacha Tinta 10%, Tempranillo 85%, Graciano 5%

From the finest vineyards situated in the southeastern part of Spain, within the Rioja region in the flourishing province of Almeria, emerges the Marqués de Cáceres Reserva, a red wine representing one of the most esteemed and best-selling products from the area. This selection comprises three distinct grape varieties. Specifically, the Marqués de Cáceres vineyards utilize Garnacha (10%), Graciano (5%), and Tempranillo (85%) grapes for this wine. The Mediterranean and fairly balanced climate, typical of the southeastern Spanish regions, has facilitated excellent maturation of these grapes grown at an altitude of 120 meters above sea level. Carrying the DOC Rioja designation, this wine is matured for a considerable 20 months in French oak barrels, followed by bottle aging for a period ranging from 10 to 12 months. Truly enjoyable and well-balanced, it exhibits a ruby red, almost dense color. Its refined and complex aroma carries notes of cherry, vanilla, and subtle toasted hints. Balanced on the palate, silky and well-defined tannins combine with delightful flavors, revealing a pleasant fullness.
