Bouchard Pere et Fils Echezeaux Grand Cru 2016

Pinot Noir 100%

The appellation of Echézeaux covers a little over 37 hectares situated in the municipality of Flagey-Echézeaux. Similar to the neighboring Clos Vougeot, the terroir presents diverse characteristics: sandy at the top, deeper at the bottom, and with dark limestone halfway up the slope. The wines produced in this appellation are known for their intense, vibrant, and bright red color. Upon tasting, they reveal delicacy and finesse. Despite their full-bodied nature, they maintain a softness due to moderate acidity and fine, concentrated tannins. The elegant and refined aromas evoke hints of precious exotic woods like cedar.
